One of the prime reasons for the religious hatred amongst people around the world is their ignorance about their own religious scriptures. More than 80% of people; who believe in God via one or the other religion; are ignorant about the real message of their own religious scripture. Irnoically, the people of authority amongst various religious groups have misled their own people for political, financial or selfish goals. The present world has become so hectic, that time does not permit us to do research on our own religious scripture. Hence, most of the times, people end up trusting the words of their religious heads/leaders and do not care to cross verify it with the religious scripture. Christianity is one such example. Christianity believes in the doctrine of Trinity. It is amazing to observe, that how a concept has been driven so effectively that it made people believe in it, without even understanding what it means.

 

The present times has seen ever increasing violence and hatred due to religious ignorance. People of various religions have become thirsty for each others blood just because they think they all are different, although the funny part is that all of them have originated from a single pair of male and female (i.e. Adam & Eve). In order for us to bring communal harmony, religious tolerance and universal brotherhood, it is important to educate people about their own religious concepts from thier religious scriptures and open their eyes. for example also though all the religions defy killing of innocent people however Islam outstands in giving this exclusive command:

"...if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind..." [Holy Qur'an 5:32]

Therefore it is very important to call people towards the unity of God (Tawheed), which is the basic teaching of most of the religious scriptures. It is only on Tawheed can the humanity unite and live peacefully.
